Scrap Book Contest Rules
1) Entry will be in the form of Scrap book and Only one scrap book per club will be allowed.
2) The size of the scrap book shall be A4 and the number of pages will be restricted to maximum 40 sheets including cover pages and inclusive of all enclosures. Give page nos at the bottom of the page (Use both the sider of sheet i.e. total 80 pages each) st
3) Lions Clubs in our District are categorized in two group as per membership strength as on 1 July 2023 Group membership strength above 40. Group B- membership strength upto 40
4) Name of the Club, District No, Region No, Zone No, Membership Strength should appear on the cover.
5) The scrap book should consist of the following :
- a. Short history of Club, list of Past Presidents, Office Bearers, Cabinet Members D.G/ V.D.G/ P.D.G if any from the club, Permanent Projects and Activities, achievements of the club at the District, Multiple & International level.
- b. Information about International President, International Directors, International Presidents Programme, District Governors Programme.
- c. Clubs Publication - such as Stationery (Letterhead), Bulletins, Souvenirs', Invitations, Posters, Circulars, Handbills etc.
- d. Details of Service Activities and Permanent Projects supported by Photos and News Paper Clipping / Media Publicity, coverage in “The Lion and Sahyadri Lion” etc
- e. Statistical data of Total Service Activities performed during L.Y 2023-2024 till date. The data should cover Type of Activity, Place of Performance, No of Beneficiaries, Cabinet Officers attended, Men / Women Hours spent, Amount Involved & Publicity in media.
- f. Copies of Activity Reports, Meeting Circulars and Communication with Club Members/ Cabinet officers st
6) The scrap book should be handed over to district PRO on 1 day of District Conference and should be taken back on next day (Date and Time will be informed before District Conference).
7) Evaluation of Clubs performance in the field of public relations will be made on the basis of scrap book prepared by the club. One prize will be given to Lions Club, one prize to Lioness Clubs and one prize to Leo clubs separately.
8) Scrap book evaluation will be carried out as per the attached evaluation sheet, by the judge appointed and the decision taken by them will be final.
